Week-Long Youth Shooting Camps:
The Level 1 Rifle Camp is for new shooters – boys and girls ages 8 to 16. For five days, each weekday morning (8:30am to 10:30am), campers will learn rifle marksmanship and gun safety. Each day there will be a lesson, hands-on firearms instruction, and a shooting exercise. There is a Saturday morning (8:00am to 10:00am) session for “graduates” to demonstrate their marksmanship to parents. We feature Savage Mark-II FVT Target Rifles. The camp includes the daily use of a rifle, eye and ear protection, ammo, and targets. [Campers may bring their own rimfire rifle to the Range. However, the first few days, we will use Camp rifles for the exercises. Later in the week, they will be given an opportunity to shoot their gun. Please do not bring any ammunition to the Camp.] **Please call the Range directly or refer to event Online Registration for current pricing.**
The Level 2 Rifle Camp is for boys and girls that have completed the Best Shot Range Level 1 Camp. The focus of this Camp is to improve shooting skills. We’ll follow the NRA Marksmanship Qualification program, shoot a variety of .22 rifles (bolt-action, semi-auto, lever-action, pump-action, and falling block), and conduct a basic shooting match to learn range commands and disciplined shooting. The camp includes the daily use of a rifle, eye and ear protection, ammo, and targets. The camp is five days, Monday thru Friday, from 8:30am to 10:30 each day. **Please call the Range directly or refer to event Online Registration for current pricing.**
